Outback regions.
The heart & soul of this great country is the outback. The outback is not a destination, it is something felt, something hard to put your finger on, but it is there. To find it you need to head west from the east coast, over the great divide & keep on going to where herds of cattle graze on stations as big as some European countries. To where red sand provides a backdrop for multi coloured wild flowers. To where vast gibber plains stretch forever, the stars at night are like multiple strings of brilliant pearls & the sunsets are like nowhere else.
You will know when you are in the outback when you meet those unforgettable characters. People who are as tough as the land they live in, but will make you feel welcome as you join them in a cold one at the local. The outback is definitely a feeling & you will know when you are there. It is something definitely Australian, to be experienced by all of us.

Mountains and Forests
The Great Dividing Range today comprises many areas as wild and beautiful as they have always been.
From Cape York & the Daintree rainforest in the north of Australia to the true wilderness & pristine steams of the New England to the lofty vantage points of the Victorian High Country. The ranges are so diverse they will simply amaze you.
So why not join Off Road Adventures Australia on one of their tours within the ranges and visit some truely spectacular country, of which many parts are world heritage listed.
